Be Prepared

The Boy Scout slogan "Be Prepared" is like any great life principle. It is simple and easy to understand. However, considerable effort is required when churches confront the problem of meeting their space needs.

So often church leaders go through a process poorly prepared. They begin their effort believing that their lack of preparation will be "divinely" resolved.

Knowledgeable and experienced consultants can assist congregations with formulating a facility expansion or a relocation plan and provide the church with workable alternatives.

Oftentimes, I encounter expansion or relocation plans that are based on parameters that are doomed for failure from the start. The failure is a result of using bad assumptions concerning costs to relocate or expand or not planning ahead especially in the financial area. Significant effort is lost when looking at property or buildings if the church discovers that their relocation plan or expansion is not possible.

Our work with churches has moved from simple real estate transactions of buildings and land sales or purchases, to helping churches work with architects and lenders experienced with churches who can confidently advise a church with solid facts to allow a church to "Be Prepared". Formulating a workable plan is mandatory!
